Binghamton Facility Renovation-Phase 1 of 3 Phases

Renovation Update: The renovations are moving along well. We are into the final stages of the women's locker room work and look forward to re-opening that area shortly. After that we are moving up to the 3rd floor bathrooms and doing some very positive, and much needed, work on them. Thank you to everyone again for your patience and cooperation as this work goes on.

Continuing Skills to Kindergarten Class

The YMCA of Broome County Child Care Center will offer a summer enrichment class from June 30th to August 29th 2014 entitled Continuing Skills to Kindergarten. Children who will attend Kindergarten this fall and will turn 5 on or before December 1st 2014 are eligible. Focus will be on school readiness skills including reading, writing and social skills as well as physical development including swim instruction. Full and part time spots are available.

Farm Share

Looking for fresh, local produce at an affordable price? Interested in eating healthier? Binghamton Farm Share brings good, fresh food to the Binghamton Y.

Options include a Family Share ($30/week), Full Share ($25/week), or Half Share ($12.50/week). Complete the Farm Share Agreement, (available at Y Welcome Centers) to enjoy your weekly box of tasty, fresh vegetables all season-long. You may pay using cash, check and SNAP/EBT. Customers who receive SNAP, WIC, or are income eligible may qualify for a 50% discount on farm share prices.

Beginning in June, Hemlock Creek Farms will bring your food to the Binghamton Y every week for you to pick up. Pick up times will be between 4:30 and 6:30 pm every Thursday. If you have any questions just give a call: 607-238-3522.

We are happy to announce that we accept Silver & Fit for our members.

Child Care Enrollmentreaders choice award

We are enrolling children into our New York State Licensed Early Learning child Care Center.  Quality care and education for infants 6 weeks to preschoolers up to age 5 including Universal Pre Kindergarten age children. from 6:30am-5:30pm weekdays. Financial Assistance is available and DSS subsidies are accepted.
